What happened on the Hungarian market of real estates in 2007?

Fashion Street concept is not merely a plan now, the full reconstruction of Deák Ferenc utca was completed last year, due to which Immobilia created a new and favourite retail area on 11 thousand square metres. In addition to branded garment shops a German centred Italian restaurant chain, Vapiano also opened a shop on Fashion Street, first in Budapest.

From ING to Immobilia

Elekes András (52) architect leaves ING Group after seven years, and continues his career as the general director of Immobilia Zrt. He undertook to professionally manage the rehabilitation project significantly affecting the future City Centre. Previously he worked at the real estate development division of the Holland banking institute, ING. The establishment of brand "Fashion Street" of Deák Ferenc utca by creating fashion shops in a section behind the hotels has been a key point in his career.

The new main street of the City Centre

The renovation of the pavement of Deák Ferenc utca may be started soonest in August. The Fashion Street - Divat utca project involving the full reconstruction of the buildings, however, will be ready by that time, while the new main street of the City Centre may be handed over at the end of October at the earliest due to road construction works.

From the past to the future

Budapest may be soon called the "fashion capital" of the Central European region, since Fashion Street opens in Deák Ferenc utca, city centre, in the spring of 2007. Renovation of imposing buildings on the uneven side of Deák Ferenc utca, bordered by Deák Ferenc tér and Bécsi utca progresses in accordance with the plans, and the general reconstruction of the street will take place after their handing over at the beginning of the next year.

EU institutions move

THE European Commission representation office and the European Parliament Information Office in Budapest have moved to Deák Palota, in Deák Ferenc utca, downtown Pest, real estate company DTZ announced this week. DTZ is acting as leasing agent on behalf of Immobilia Rt, the landlord of the building.

Max Mara and Hugo Boss to open in new downtown development

The future looks brighter for lovers of high-end fashion brands in Budapest. A 540 sqm multi-brand store offering Max Mara and Hugo Boss brands will open in Deák Palota, a new downtown retail development at 15 Deák Ferenc utca, opposite the Kempinski Hotel. Deák Palota is being developed by Millennium Immobilia, the building consists of over 600 sqm ground floor retail units and over 4,000 sqm office space over six floors.
